Mahavira was the twenty-fourth Tirthankara of Jainism and also popular as Vardhamana. Jain people consider Mahavira as a god. Mahavira was born into a royal family in Bihar, India. Mahavira parents Siddhartha and Trishala were Devotees of Parshvanatha. Royalty and luxurious life didn’t suit him. So one day he made the final decision to leave his luxurious life in pursuit of spiritual awakening.

At the age of 30, he left his home by abandoning worldly things including his clothes and became ascetic.
