Suresh Chandra Guhathakurta was more famous as Swami Parmananda, born on 5 February 1884 (died in 1940) in the village of Banaripara, West Bengal (now Bangladesh). when he was 9 years old, his mother died of cancer at the age of 40. He was not only a great poet and teacher but also the author of several books (Upanishads is one of the famous books).

Swami Parmananda was the youngest discipline of Swami Vivekananda and attained hard training under the guidance of Swami Vivekananda.
